To: No_More_Harkin
I understand if perhaps there is help to be given like food for flood victims, but in this case like thousands of others in the world, there is literally nothing we can do. I don’t understand the news reporting tragedy at all.

A car accident is a tragedy. A tornado is a tragedy. A kid with cancer is a tragedy.

This is meth. That we tolerate this drug in our communities is a collective failure that we are a part of.

We own this.

I guess I don’t understand what you mean by we tolerate this in our community.

You mean people as a whole? I’m failing to see how their actions are somehow my responsibility.

Meth is a horrible drug that destroys many user's lives, but the responsibility for what those people did rests solely with them. Plenty of other people have abused methamphetamine without engaging in evil atrocities.

Sometimes we are just seeing evil, plain and simple.

Druggies and dealers need to be shot. The "war" on drugs needs to become a real war. On people, not drugs.
