How did worms survive in frozen beef?

The same way that lady found a thumb in the chili....it was put there after the cooking.

Where does it say the worms were cooked inside the meat? This is the second thread I’ve seen about this, and I still can’t find the source of that claim. When I first read about this, I thought of the worms that are occasionally found in lettuce. I don’t know if that’s what they meant, but it makes more sense to me than worms being frozen inside a burger patty, fried on a grill, then falling out still alive.
