There’s not much of a market out there in the private sector for people whose primary “skillset” is manipulating, concealing and twisting information.

There's a huge market out there. Our government, our politicians, the entire media.

You misread my comment. If you actually read it you’ll note that I said “in the private sector’. Government and politicians are in the PUBLIC sector. I think there’s universal agreement on that.

With respect to the entire media, I understand why you would say that because it is a dishonest and biased enterprise. But while it is mostly a private sector occupation, it is not a huge job market. Look at what the Bureau of Labor Statistics says about “Reporters, Correspondents, and Broadcast News Analysts”. The facts point out that its a very small market with low job prospects.
