Abbott endorsed Trump on May 12, 2016. Went on several networks between then, and May 16 to voice his support for Trump.

You beat me to it, Sockmonkey. I just linked in article from the Texas Tribune showing it.
I knew Abbott was one of the first out of the gate supporting Trump when it was obvious he had the nomination.
