“When four candidates are included in the poll — taking in Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Libertarian Gary Johnson”

What good is a poll that leaves out Stein and Johnson? These are real candidates and you cannot leave them off of a poll.

Johnson did 1% in 2012, and the Greens .3%.
My view is that won’t change much in 2016.
Dem voters typically hit the D button and move on.
R voters view Johnson as a lefty.

Which is probably why Trump’s and Clinton’s numbers barely change when the 3rd parties are put in. Those people were the ones claiming to not want to vote for either in the first round.

I seem to remember reading that the third party people often acquiesce to vote for one of the major parties at the last minute. In that case, it’s good to see a higher number for Johnson than for Stein. Trump’s potential pool of 3rd party defectors is bigger than Hellary’s.
