Wilkow discussing Trump's immigration position. Warns that any change or backtracking spells immediate defeat.
Hillary promises amnesty in the first 100 days.
I’m out if Trump wimps out on deportation. That is the ONLY reason I supported him.
Warns that any change or backtracking spells immediate defeat.
*in the vein of “not voting or voting for any candidate other than Trump is a vote for Hillary.”
If Trump does anything, it’s over.
If Trump doesn’t do anything, it’s over.
YAAWWWWNNNNNNNNN.
What are going to do vote for Hillary? Yeah, that’s funny.
SUPREME COURT
People only what they want to hear it seems. Trump has not wavered, the wall is getting built, illegals will be vetted, and law & order will prevail. Make America great again!
Andrew Wilkow: “If Trump Flip-flops on immigration, it’s over”
If this is what he thinks then maybe he ought to move to Hillary or is he just ranting for effect. Trump has stated his position, READ IT!
Trump has not softened his stance on immigration. The media has honed in on hispanics.. they have not mentioned muslims at all.. they are 2 battles...
Separate them... the muslims go and do not come back.
Those who crossed the borders are going back...
Those who have lived here for a time... they are going.. not on the same plane... give Trump a break...
the media is having a ball with this... Rush included... just shut up and quit the political gossiping..
Listen to Trump.. don’t listen to the media!!!
Trump has repeatedly said he is going to enforce the immigration laws. He is going to build a wall. No sanctuary cities.
Trump is NOT softening, the media would like you to believe that:

Trump with Hannity last night along with Rick Perry, Rudy, Jeff Sessions, a Latino author, the head of ICE, and some others that Trump has talked to...very interesting stuff...
I like a lot of things Trump says, but at the end of the day, he’s not Hillary and that is way, way, more than enough reason to vote for him.
I know. I posted this though for discussion and not to be a concern troll. Wilkow is talking about it and reinforcing that Trump cannot waver because this is how he became popular. Liberal websites and trolls are behind this, IMO.
“...SUPREME COURT...”
One of the biggest, if not THE biggest reason to NOT LET HILLARY GET IN THE WHITE HOUSE. Then is is OVER, in spades.
So what really is happening with Trump’s immigration position? I notice immigration hawk Jeff Sessions is still standing with him at rallies.
I notice this is the new attack angle from the bitter #NeverTrump GOPe. They are all over it on Twitter, with their “I told you so” superiority. This is supposed to do, what—drive Trump supporters into Hillary’s arms? Keep them home in November so they can lay plans for a supposed comeback in 2020?
So, you’d rather have Hillary then?
I heard Trump over the last few days talking about the wall, enforcing all immigration laws, etc., where is he “flip flopping”?
Who knew that there were so many on the right.
“Trump has repeatedly said he is going to enforce the immigration laws. He is going to build a wall. No sanctuary cities.”
Yes and he has said he will deport them humanely. I do not see any change.
I read what was written here. I read the articles that were linked here. I read the opinion pieces.
I listened to what Trump said and I did not come away thinking he has all of a sudden reversed course, but then again, I have always said he will say he wants 100 and settle for 60 - that is his negotiation tactic.
Apparently if he says anything other than “Mexico is going to pay for the wall”, which he still says by the way, it is amnesty according to the media?
If we enforce our immigration laws it will stop illegal immigration and we will begin to get rid of those who do not belong here. Pretty simple. The FACT that he also says we need to think about America’s children (our own dreamers - I like that!) makes me think he still has this right.
Am I missing something here or is this simply more hand wringing and an effort by the leftists media to drive a wedge between Trump and his supporters? His language appears softer, but I don’t see where he is changing his stance.
