You state “It’s not the same as quitting other drugs, alcohol or cigarettes.” I asked you the question earlier whether you had ever been a chain smoker and quit cigarettes and I have to assume you were...because how would you know if you came up with this “rote” statement? As a matter of fact, I guess you have been on dope and alcohol too? Such a “world wise” person with these experiences to tell those around them how to do something you have never done.

Although not relevant, I am a former smoker and social drinker. I am not an expert on heroin but have spoken with dozens experts - doctors, social workers, addiction specialists. That is where the “It’s not the same as quitting other drugs, alcohol or cigarettes” comment came from. That is what I have been told by the experts. You can become addicted after using only once. Treatment costs tens of thousands per year.

As I stated, what pisses me off is the government’s lack of concern. Numerous sources have stated it is being marketed to white males. Not blacks. Not Hispanics. Mostly late teens and early 20’s.

There is no public service announcements. No education in the school system about the dangers of drug use and heroin in particular. No “just say no” campaign. Instead our government release non violent drug offenders. Arggg!!!!

Lets shut that border down. Lets have death penalty for dealers. Lets save our children!
