I love all the solutions offered here. But San Franciscans haven’t been sleeping on the job. They came up with the idea of an open air urinal. Why pee in guilt in the dark when you can pee freely and unashamedly out in the open?

Absolutely correct. Guilt over urinating in public is obviously a holdover from our repressive heritage. Federally funded studies to follow. /s
