According to Hadith, Muhammad ruled that if a boy had not yet gone through puberty (grown pubic hair), then he did not qualify as a man, so sex with boys did not fall under the restrictions against homosexuality.
This was helpful in recruiting a few more guys (homosexuals and child molesters) to join his raiding parties, as they would be incentivized by being able to rape captives and take sex slaves, like the heterosexual recruits were.
Ever since, young boys for homosexual sex have been a significant component of the muslim slave trade. It is much more widespread in muslim societies than in the West. Perhaps half of Afghan men have had some experience with it - more in some parts of the country.
Bacha Bazi (Boy Play), dressing boys up like girls and making them dance for a group of men (who then might bid to see who would take the boy home), is a common form of public entertainment there.
Westerners don’t realize that Muslims assume everyone understands their sick culture, and therefore an unescorted female or minor is fair game (in their sick minds, no loving parents would expose their children to Muslim men, so any that come along are “DTF”)...
