The house we moved into when my children were little was on a corner, and people cut through our yard all the time. When the guy came out and gave me an estimate on a six foot fence, I asked him about an eight foot fence, and he said, “ ma’am that’s against the law”.
What you do is build an earthen berm that’s two feet tall and then put your six foot tall fence on top of it.
