What if polls were faked in order to influence public opinion, like the global warming data was?
What reason do we have to think these polls are fair and accurate? Algores fake data also came from a so-called respected university.
I believe that right now that is exactly what is happening.
With a week or 2 to go before election, they will converge toward 'reality' so the pollsters can retain some credibilty.
