Just an anectdotal reference here. After the 1917 Turkish release of Jerusalem, 50 years to 1967 and the Israeli recapture of Jerusalem (and then promptly gave 1/2 back).
And now, 50 years after that, 2017.
No way to be sure but the previous two 50-year cycles brought interesting things to Jerusalem.
Let me say it clearly it’s little more than speculation.
The view from here is it is much more than speculation.
A number of prominent rabbis have youtube videos on the timing of the next few years. It is definitely the ‘end-of-years’. Russia, US, Turkey, Iran, and a few others all warring in Syria...
Regarding the 1967 + 50 cycle...I haven’t seen times like ours since 1967, the Police shootings, riots, divided country, war (or near war), instability, social change, etc.
