Donald Trump has certainly not backed off his immigration policy in any way. Anybody watching his speeches and watching the Hannity Town Hall last night (Part 2 to be shown tonight) will know that for themselves.
The troubled Crooked Hillary campaign and their partners (the mainstream media) are on a mission to plant seeds of doubt in Trump supporters by claiming that Trump is either backing off or not planning on implementing his campaign promises. So when people like yourself say that you are no longer enthusiastically supporting Trump or going to his rallies because of their spin, then mission accomplished!
It is sad to see that some Freepers allow these establishment media to plant these seeds of doubt, be it their bogus polls or things like this.
This election is an all-out war and Donald Trump needs soldiers supporting him, not hand-wringing wishy-washy people who get all squishy when the battle gets rough.
And the battle WILL get rougher still.
I am only going with what Trump said about his main campaign issue. If you don’t think that will dampen enthusiasm, you are deceiving yourself.

If Trump comes out and clarifies it to my particular satisfaction, it will only give his enemies another change to claim he is all over the board with his policies.
What infuriates me is the stupid Hannity coming up with that and virtually forcing him to respond in like manner, and giving the MSM a chance to legitimately scream it to the world, as they are now doing.
Hannity is the one who should not be forgiven.
Who needs enemies with friends like him. Hopefully, Ann Coulter can get to him and bitch slap him.
Absolutely!!!! I heard his comments on hannity and I thought(as a Hispanic ) thought he hit a right note!! FOLLOW the law already established in the books! On the contrary I thought it was pretty tough and was thinking last night that the left was going to have an astronomical hissy fit ...he literally mentioned that those illegals have to get back in line family or no family good deeds or no good deeds because it was unfair to let them jump to the front of the line when others have been waiting for years to become citizens! I received it as an outstanding remark! My father came into this country legally waited years to get citizenship and he did it by the book by the laws that are already written in the book! Am I wavering because of trumps answer nonsense he hit it out of the ballpark again! Regardless of what anybody else thinks Trump is the Esther of today! We need him America needs him desperately! God bless Mr. Trump and his family! Remember he doesn’t need this he’s got all the wealth and fame that a man would only dream of ...he’s doing this because of LOVE of country!
I’ve been on the front lines of the illegal immigration battle for decades now. I’m first-generation American with parents who came over here in the law and order days.
I’ve gone to countless townhalls and breakfasts with various politicians.
I’ve never heard the words from a primary national candidate that I’m hearing from Mr. Trump.
I have zero doubt that he’ll do what he says he will do.
No one else could ever be bothered by the collateral damage the invading army of criminals leave behind. Trump is horrified and saddened by the families of the murdered Americans who are left behind.
No politician at the national level could ever act sincere, other than sincerely sorry that they can’t give every leeching criminal and their 50 Bolshevik relatives amnesty.
