Had to laugh when Sid Miller, our Ag Commissioner, was talking about the horrors of using corn in gasoline rather than in making corn whiskey. Fortunately, we have a lot of Aggies who help to offset some the Teasip garbage coming out of Austin.
LOL here as well. Never tempted to try corn whiskey.. Never cared much for whiskey of any type. I prefer the clear stuff, vodka, gin. The corn should be used in corn tortillas or corn chips or corn on the cob. Who would find the where with all to make fuel from corn and who would in their right mind make the decision to do so? Liberals are certainly not in their right minds. Having family members who at one time were farmers, it is certainly not an easy life. Of course, at that time they made it using their own two hands with no financial assistance from government. Up at dawn working in the fields all day only stopping when the sun went down. As a family we would travel to see them and the best part was being able to ride the tractor with my uncle driving/working. For me, like a ride on the midway. For him, just just performing a daily task that needed to be done in order to feed the family.
