Rush is an x New Yorker....there may be something is their past......I do know that both Rush and Newt pushed for NAFTA...both as it turns out, were wrong and Trump is really right about how that turned out....didn't that little Texas fellow say something to the effect..."...with NAFTA, you're gonna hear a giant sucking sound" Perot was spot on! Both Ross and Trump have played that game....they know how winning in business or running corporations work. Rush does know government, best civics teacher I ever had.
Trump is probably a mortal threat to Limbaugh’s business and to his legacy. Conservatism® is out. Americanism is in. It’s not Rush’s brand.

I had to stop listening to Rush because he always made me feel discouraged. After awhile I began to believe he knows exactly what he is doing as part of the nevertrump crowd. Discourage people enough, and they start giving up. Hasn’t worked so good for the nevertrunpers yet, but if they keep it up it may eventually do a lot of damage. I have noticed for some time that Rush always looks for the polls that have Hillary up the most. Rush never highlights favorable Trump polls. This is not accidental. If Rush really wanted to look for positive stuff re Trump, he could easily cite lots of favorable Trump polls. But that would rev up the Trump crowd.
