stare decisis is a made up/bull feces legal "tradition" that can easily be superceeded by a majority which again makes that concept laughable under a "living Constitution". Respect to the fundamentals of the Constitution can be ignored at will. What makes a sane person think stare decisis is immune to deference as well?
Also stare decisis is based on some awful decisions as well, so who cares. The legal profession is just a haven for the top notch BS artists to have an arena to play in and be well compensated for their efforts. Natural Law/Common Law are victimized by the well skilled "artists", yeah for bad civil laws that pervert the logical components of Common Law.

True. I'm not necessarily defending stare decisis, just pointing out that the left will ignore it to enact their agenda while insisting that conservatives abide by it at all costs.
