That’s the chance you have to deice on. Mostly likely, if they are going to shoot you - they will shoot you first and be done with it. If they are looking to kick some a$$, they are not likely to be armed.
You will have the advantage as your weapon is already in hand and ready to go. Any suspicious movements from anyone else implies aggressive intent. Those folks have earned a double tap.
