The late semi-great NY Democrat Senator, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, had this pertinent truism attributed to him; "Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to their own facts." So, for this very opinionated lady, saying it is a fact does not make it so!
PS: I say semi-great because his final 'service' to the nation was giving the blessing and support for Hillary replace him on his retirement from the US Senate. In so many other respects he was great, as a forceful US Ambassador to the UN and his view on the fact that welfare and government rules were destroying the family structures of the poor, just to name two.
Is it bad that we were hoping it did and were willing to give it a try?
