Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach was under fire after she used a racial slur during a broadcast. During the Monday broadcast, Robach, who was filling in for Robin Roberts, used the words colored people while speaking about diversity or lack thereof in Hollywood.
During the segment, Amy Robach used the term colored people when talking about the criticism Hollywood has received by giving most roles to Caucasian actors.
Specifically, the segment dealt with the casting of mixed actress Zendaya as the reimagined Mary Jane in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. As the Inquisitr reported, many fans were up in arms over the casting because the character was originally Caucasian in the comic books.

I wish Barry’s aid response to the floods in Louisiana wasn’t so niggardly.
The PC police wields the knife. They bow down to BLM, Muslims and other extremist groups.
“Colored people” = bad
“People of color” = good
THE COLOR
Dude that’s not right, you said the cracker honkey word. I’m so friggin distressed, I’m running for my meds.
I’m so old I can remember when “Colored” was the polite term to use. I’m also so old I don’t give a crap about this PC nonsense.
I’m waiting for them to ban the word denigrate.
Negroes.
Who wants to hear about imbecilic complaints? Colored People?
Really?
"Thugs," possibly.
If you were born before 2008 you would know the phrase was self chosen by the babies now complaining.
Being able to manipulate everyone else is so empowering, YO!
What’s the difference? Nothing, between “people of color” and “colored people”. This is a prime example of libtardism.
That isnt a slur.
“Nigger” would be the slur.
They change it every once in while so they can manufacture outrage that whitey didn’t get the memo...why don’t they just skip all the pretense and go to “Former Pharoahic Kangz and Queenz, past progenitors of the human race (and caucasian mutants), future Supreme Beings of the known Universe!”
Do they have to say “People of Color lives matter” now?
Had a history class years ago in college where the elderly white professor used the term “niggardly” and caught holy hell from all the persons of Negro color. I thought it was funnier than hell because he was a liberal apologist.
For anyone over the age of 55, Colored People is the normal, and in no way a racial slur, designation of those not white. I will continue to use it as the gentle designation it has always been and I will ignore those idiots trying to control my speech.
But we don’t have to listen to or obey the P.C. police. NEVER back down or show weakness when attacked by those who wish to control you. NEVER!
Im so old I can remember when Colored was the polite term to use. Im also so old I dont give a crap about this PC nonsense.

Ditto!
I haven’t heard that term in ages.
My grandmother used to call them darkies, and that always made me cringe.
POC (people (alternatively, persons) of color)is the current PC term. It is actually a broader term than colored people which, in its segregation days, referred exclusively to persons of African racial heritage. POC embraces everyone who is not visually European in descent.
(I was going to say Caucasian but that term applies not only to Europeans but also to persons from southwestern part of Asia (Middle East to India). However, some of those Caucasians are as dark or darker than many Africans, so the PC crowd goes with visual appearance rather than strict racial categories.)
