Should have hired an attorney in the jurisdiction where the ticket occurred to represent you in court, get the ticket reduced to a nonmoving violation. That’s not cheap either, but it’s cheaper long term than allowing the points to hit your insurance.
Good advice ....but it never hit my insurance (VA), maybe because I paid up early? The trooper was a really nice young guy, maybe he put in a good word, I don’t know. I ain’t askin’ either. Repeat - it was a good lesson.
