I get almost daily (or more) calls from India claiming to be from Microsoft Windows Technical Support. I tell them my windows are nice and clean and I see out of them just fine. They always get mad and hang up.

I must remember that for the next time those jerks call me.

Be as utterly ruthless and nasty (or mocking) as you have to be. Remember, these are organized gangs of international criminals trying to get control of your computer, downloaded viruses, and demand payment to “fix” it. Frustrating them and wasting their time is paramount. The Indian government really needs to crack down hard on these criminals and give them long prison sentences. It’s giving their country a black eye. Contrast it with Nigeria whose email bank scams are quaint by comparison (and easily deleted).

I thank them profusely: "Thank you. I am registered with the Federal Do Not Call program. Now that I have your number, you will be getting a $500 fine."

They never call back.
