BTW, most (any) firefights you can get into @ 250 yards will be against soldiers or marines, and in either case you will get killed very fast.
I would be less concerned with fighting against cops or the military in a SHTF situation. If you are a better shot than the thugs shooting wildly from 100-200 yards, aimed fire should be enough with any semi auto.
