doesn’t sound like good news to me

Manafort defeated the Cruz and nevertrump effort to subvert the convention and the delegates and helped Trump secure the nomination

I suspect there may be a similar move by the establishment (democrat and GOPe) to subvert the electoral vote regardless of the popular vote

I'm disappointed Paul Manafort is leaving the campaign as I liked him and he represented Donald Trump well in his media appearances. But then, I don't profess to know the circumstances. Maybe there was good reason for them to part ways that we are not privy to.

At any rate, he helped guide Mr. Trump through the nomination process, which looked to be getting dicey during the March/April period and for that alone, I think he served the campaign well.

Many will attempt to spin these "shake-ups" as a negative but I find it refreshing. Nobody can accuse Donald of not being decisive or afraid of making changes when he feels it necessary.

Previous nominees like Romney, McCain and Dole ran fairly static campaigns that were mostly "blah" and didn't generate enough voter enthusiasm to win.

I'm definitely encouraged by the campaign over the past week. The last few campaign speeches have been fantastic and looking forward to his Louisiana visit today and Michigan speech tonight.

Over the next few days, the Trump campaign will hold rallies in MI, OH, VA, TX, and MS.

Things seem to be cranking up big time.
