Even with 4 MILLION total views, Trump needs TV & radio ads to reach the vast majority needed to win in November.
FBN just showed his new TV ad - it’s good, not great. But it will begin the start of his national campaign.
May God save America...
Missed it. Is linked somewhere?
CNN did too., Called it "dark," and void of any positive message about Trump's plans.
There are no tanks in Baghdad.
Donald Trump is sitting on a mountain of cash so I'm sure he'll run a bunch of them between now and November. If anything, to satisfy the caterwaulers out there who are hollering for them. But I'm not sure that's the best use of the campaign resources.
We saw how Jeb Bush flushed $100,000,000 down the drain on TV ads and never broke single digits. Now we are seeing the same from Crooked Hillary and despite the tens of millions of dollars expended on ads, her numbers haven't budged.
People just don't sit through television commercials anymore. It's too easy to DVR what you want to watch and FF through the commercials. Or increasingly, for a nominal monthly fee, people are streaming commercial-free content on demand through services like Netflix and Hulu.
I think much more traction will be gained on social media (bypassing the conventional media) and continuing to hold rallies - only on a larger scale.
Twitter alone has over 11,000,000 people subscribing directly to the Trump feed. That's a Rush Limbaugh sized audience. Then you have close to the same number of Trump subscribers on Facebook, Instagram, etc. There's some overlap there but I'm guessing conservatively that 25,000,000 people are available for direct feeds from the Trump campaign. With some additional focus, those numbers can grow and I'm sure there are ways to encourage people to watch Trump speeches in their entirety through live Internet feed or streamed on demand.
For instance, Trump could announce a major policy speech like the one he had in Wisconsin earlier this week and send out links for people to watch the feed live (or later on demand) over the Internet. That way they can watch the speech in it's entirety without the babbling, shouting talking heads trying to tell the rest of us what to think about it. That would bypass the conventional media and give people a chance to see Trump unfiltered.
The Trump campaign can setup a YouTube channel and give subscribers some premium content just for them. For instance, Donald could take us into the Trump plane for an exclusive Q&A between campaign events.
All of this would require infrastructure to handle the bandwidth but well worth it in my opinion.
