I knew more than a few of these usurpers back in the mid seventies through the mid eighties as I met them in various work situations. They had two addresses, here in NY and up in Vermont. Probably voted in both places via absentee ballot in one state. They spoke of their “ progressive “ vacation communities up in Vermont and back then I thought nothing of it.
