Exactly, He knew CNN would top bill his “regret” comment. He baited them. Most in America feel better about a man that can see an error and admit it. This will bring in many that were on the fence about Trump, I think it is a brilliant move and changes the tone of the election.
I watched part of the speech. DT then goes through and asks whether HC ever apologizes for Bengazi, for ISIS, for pay-for-play at State.
Of course the AP does not have any of that in the articles. The DT strategy would work if the reporters were honest
