They seem confident that everyone is stupid.

Mr. Conason continued, “Saying that his use of personal email had been transformative for the department,” Mr. Powell “thus confirmed a decision she had made months earlier — to keep her personal account and use it for most messages.”

- She used it for ALL messages. Not "except for classified communications, which he had sent and received via a State Department computer.” She never used the state department's secure emails system at all. She took his advice to use a state system for classified comms to mean "use your private for everything"? She did *not* follow his advice as stated in this article. Nor did he advise her to homebrew a server. This is a patently lame illogical defense.

Also, wasn’t her original excuse that her private email was so that she only had to use one device, rather than several devices?
