If true that they are being moved, I can’t imagine why they would be going to Romania, a relatively new NATO country that I imagine doesn’t have much in the way of US presence. Somewhere like Aviano would seem to make much more sense.
Romania might be new to NATO but they hate the Russians with a passion and they are probably more loyal to us than the Euroweenies in the EU if it comes down to it.
Maybe the Italians have already said no to that nuclear hot potato.
But Romania? Got to be some nuclear Vlad Dracula jokes in there.
