Hubby and I have our tickets.
We could use some travel tips from locals.
We’ve been to Charlotte, but don’t really know our way around there. We can get to the Charlotte Convention Center without a problem, but I don’t have a clue about parking, where the entrance(s) is/are, etc.
Hubby uses a power scooter, and I’ll probably use my walker (depending on how much walking is involved, and what condition my body is in at the time.)
We have a minivan with a wheelchair lift on the back, so we can’t just slip into any little spot.
Hubby has a doctor appointment this afternoon, so we’ll probably arrive around 5:30-6:00. So I need to know about more than just the closest parking garage, which is sure to be full. I need some alternate spots, and street addresses would be helpful (for the gps).
I don’t expect to have time to post any more today, but I’ll check for replies when we get out of the doctor’s office.
Love y’all.
Call the facility and ask about their parking for your vehicle. They often have “hidden” parking at back doors etc
There’s a list of things you can’t take in. Hopefully here someone will post the list.
Why don’t you guys just go online to the Charlotte Convention Center site and get all the parking info you need and special assistance available? You can also get the telephone number of the convention center and call them for guidance and help.
North Carolina....turn out in massive numbers tonight for Donald J. Trump. Go DJT!!! Onward to victory!!!
If you want.. drop me a private reply and I’ll give you a contact number and we'll be able to prevent any surprises for you
