No. Living in the middle of nowhere is fine, you can improvise from then on. Just go there with a plan, sufficient utensils, cooking and defense, and leaves will work fine, as will fern fronds, depending where you escape ro.

If you haven’t already lived in the middle of nowhere and know what to expect, you’re going to die. A better situation is to live in the middle of an armed, Christian community.
