What do you want them to do? Most decent people (and I happen to believe there are many GOP leaders who qualify as decent) have the belief that any POTUS has the respect for their leadership, their constituents who sent them there and the decisions they make. Obama doesn’t, hasn’t and never will, so the next step is and has been IMPEACHMENT.
There would be hundreds of Milwaukees, Fergusons and Baltimores. Hundreds would be dead and guess who would forever be held responsible? Within minutes after the first were killed, media would explode and the blame placed squarely on Republicans for never working with the president, for not being able to control their racism, for attempting to impeach a beloved and popular president. I know, I know......the familiar response is “GOOD, it’s about time WE will destroy them”. This is laughable because there has not been one uprising against protesters, not one group has shown up in defense of law and order. The police are ordered to stand down and hand out snacks to the thugs. You think this isn’t the way it would go?
