I Agree! My Mom is always political as was my Dad to the end.
My Step father is very conservative also.
I admit my political views strayed once when I was young and voted for a Democrat Governor in Texas and that was Mark White.

LOL....well, hopefully your "ooooooooops" was made when you were very young, so just chalk it up to youth. :-)

I'm not sure just how "political" my family was, or could be, in Hungary, but ever since they got here, they were all politically active. When the first wave of Hungarian emigres can to America, the GOP was having a long run of winning and they gravitated towards the GOP. I guess that whatever the GOP pols were saying just "spoke" to them and so they supported that party.
