Did the local West Bend residents seem to mind that Trump’s remarks seemed mostly about Milwaukee which is 40 miles away? The Dems on twitter repeatedly tweeted that this was the wrong speech for this crowd. My take is that the local West Bend residents understand.

This was the perfect speech for this community. Everyone in the area lives in the shadow of the liberal catastrophe of Milwaukee. Our news is dominated by death, destruction, and decay of this once great city. We work hard to pay the exorbitant taxes necessary to support the hundreds of thousands of people who don't work as well as for the law enforcement, prisons, and social services which are required by this decaying culture. Everything Donald Trump said was true and the everyone in the crowd knew it. We have waited our whole lives to here someone say it.

I think the locals tonight enjoyed it even if it had a “Milwaukee/big city” flavor to it.

The problem was the heat was terrible and there was no ventilation. Most stood in that building for two hours before DJT took the stage.

I’d guess maybe 500-750 left or left early simply because the heat was tough on them.
