Yes, the Trump rallies are crowded and people are enthusiastic.
Warning to us all - in the 2012 election we saw much smaller and less enthusiastic crowds for Obama and he got MORE votes on election day.
They will bus more people to the polls in Pittsburgh and Philly on election day than any sized crowd Trump has seen at a rally. Sorry folks, that is reality and crowd size nor enthusiasm is a reliable predictor of anything. I know we all want to think that (myself included), but the rats have a system that is awfully hard to beat. They will get out the vote in November - that is her plan. She is relying on the same formula Obama used to win two elections and their voter base has grown since then.
Trump is going to have to pull the mysteriously vague “monster vote” and get a lot of people who are infrequent or new voters on election day to win. He is also going to have to recover some of the #neverTrump vote because his margin for error is much smaller than hers. This is true for any GOP candidate. The electoral college is stacked against us because of the urban voting machines in purple states.
Just calling it like I see it and praying he pulls it out, but she has pretty guaranteed numbers going into this thing. If the libertarian siphons even a few percentage points we are in deep trouble. These constant threads/posts about enthusiasm were why many of us were so stunned on election day in 2012 - the perception was that Romney had a chance based on the enthusiasm factor. The reality was he did not and their machine still produced the votes.
No reason to believe it will much different this time even if I think Trump is polling pretty well going into the homestretch. Really hoping I am wrong on this, but I am going to have to see it happen before I believe it. Their machine is simply that powerful and it’s only gotten better.
Sorry but I remember clearly mitt never pulled crowds like Trump is. I’m not saying that it’s an indication of any sort what I am saying this election feels different because the media whores are very very involved in this fight ...something smells in the media atmosphere thatI have never witnessed in any election cycle! Something is not right! Down deep in my heart believe they are fixing or cooking the polls! Something just stinks to high heaven!
I agree I was sharing my fear to a reasonable liberal friend the other day that Philly last election had precincts where the voter turnout was 100%.
Unless Trump can really get more people to the polls the D machine will win.
