2) As pointed out, no other candidates mentioned, so this narrows it more.
If the split is now a +2-3 D and you include Johnson/Stein we’re back to at tie.
Another thing these polls do is over state the effects of large population states. Any votes above the one vote margin to win the states electoral votes are “wasted” votes. They effect national polls but are “medium level” (My term!) indicators as to who will win. Polls in the battleground state are better. Probably polls of those battleground states coupled with the key bellwether counties are the best.
