My Bole cost 200, my husband’s Oakley’s cost 350 - but we can afford them now. Back when we were young and struggling we couldn’t and we didn’t buy them. That is my point. They spend money on luxuries rather than necessities and want more. They think they are entitled to live like they are wealthy on other people’s money.

I agree with you. My only point was that a $300 pair of sunglasses isn’t prohibitively expensive, that’s all.

I complain about $12 - $15 for sunglasses and usually wait until Big Lots marks them down 20℅. I would do the same if I had millions in the bank.
