Price George’s County police officer shot, killed

Snip:

Police chief calls incident unprovoked attack on police station

Police said the shooting was reported shortly before 5 p.m. outside a community center next to the District III station/police headquarters on Barlowe Road.

The police chief said the gunman fired on the first officer he saw and then several police officers engaged him. He said the officers weren't in the process of arresting the man or engaging him in any way.

"This man launched an attack on a police station and engaged several Prince George's County police officers in a gunfight to which they responded heroically," Stawinski said.

This is from several months ago. That PG County cop that was shot was shot by the cops. He was undercover and mistaken for one of the shooters.

The shooter was captured, along with his two brothers, who were filming this whole thing. At this point, it’s still not clear why they did it. It seems to have been a suicide-by-cop attack.
