I went cashless years ago. No more pennies piling up on the dresser, no more visiting ATMs, no more worrying about if I have enough on me. Now, I get cashback from Discover, pay one bill automatically on line once a month, and I’m done.

Me too. And the cash back is great. 100x better than a savings account interest. Plus the time value if money benefit - I only use exactly what need and not a penny more and the rest stays in my interest bearing account. Plus the security is better than a check and or debit card or even cash.

And we always pay off our CC each month so no interest. And our CC is from the same bank as our primary accounts so payment is electronic and instantaneous.

“Now, I get cashback from Discover, pay one bill automatically on line once a month, and I’m done.”

And behind your back Discover uses its backdoor deal with Amazon and tells Amazon all about your cashback bonus, without your knowledge.

I cancelled both my Amazon and Discover when I learned of this.

Not sure where you live Sparky, but I’d like to see what you can get with that piece of plastic during a wide spread prolonged power outage.
