I have been praying for the wisdom to understand the lace curtain, anti-Trump right – the Weekly Standard, National Review, Commentary, even The American Spectator. But it was not until I saw the Cato mailer that my overriding sentiment crystallized. These people are pathetic, deluded, fearful. They are frightened someone will think them vulgar or nutty or, God forbid, racist. They are the "pussies" Clint Eastwood warned us about.
Instead of advancing our embattled causes this past year, they devoted much of their time to writing gleeful Trump-bashing editorials. The common core of these editorials might be distilled as "How could you all be so stupid?" The "stupid" include not only those who supported Trump in the primary, but also those of us, like myself, who supported Trump after our candidates fell by the wayside.
Willfully oblivious of recent history, the lace-curtain crowd fail to see that if their chosen candidate had been nominated – say, Jeb Bush or Scott Walker or Marco Rubio – the media would have customized an attack strategy to take down that candidate just as savagely. Even if Carly Fiorina or Ben Carson were the nominee, the media would have somehow managed to portray either of them as "unbelievably racist, misogynistic and homophobic."

They hated Trump and went on the attack against him from day one when the entire primary season began, because Trump ssid he wotld build a wall, secure the borders, because Trump is for the American worker and American jobs instead of selling out America to global cheap labor.
They ran attack after attack, spin poll after poll, which failed to take him down. Now they will sell out even all of our issues regarding too much taxation and regulation, national security, any chance for economic recovery for the middle class and jobs, they will now vote for and support Hillary Clinton simply because Hillary will bring in more hordes of foreigners and give amnesty and open bordrds and global cheap labor for the benefactors of such cheap labor that is the one and only issue for these Republican establishment anr their toadies.
They don’t give a damn about us or any of the issues other than this. 24x7 they now work with the Democrats to destroy Trump and destroy us. One of the end results of this betrayal is that with Hillary in office, she will flood Texas with double the number of illegal aliens in hordes unimaginable even with what Obama has already done to us, these illiterate hordes all will vote Democrat and for complete open borders and Texas will turn from Red to Blue which is exactly the agenda and the Republicans will not be able to win the electoral college and there will not be another Republican President in 100 years or more.
This election right now is literally the Alamo.
Any establishment and toadie of this betrayal, including those on FOX snd in the Republican Party, must never be forgiven. In fact, if Trump wins then we must do everything to destdoy them just as they tried to destroy us. And if Trump loses, still we must do the same. They are the enemies of Democracy. Google, Facebook, Instagram, Apple, Twitter are all working to destroy Trump. Why? Because they want cheap labor. They want to displace every American job in IT with cheap foreign lsbor while these truly 1 percent “CEO” traitors get to live hugh on the hog in America protected by the police and what is left that is good in America paid for by our taxpayers while they betray us and the Middle Class to foreign cheap labor and global agenda. So they all support Hillary and try to destroy Trump because their 1 percent status a club of the cheap foreign labor benefactors and they are the 1 percent who are Hillary’s friends.

If so, then perhaps we will have a clearer understanding of why these critters have voted so often in favor of Obama's agenda - often against their own constituents - and are indirectly supporting Hillary by trashing Trump!!!

The ones who just don’t like Trump are content with just not voting for him. I’m talking about the people who feel compelled to make sure the world knows that they detest Trump. What is that about? Why would any Republican, even one not planning to vote for Trump, want to run him down to the rest of the world? I believe those folks do have some need to publicly distance themselves from Trump out of concern over what other people will think.

Can’t blame them really, their careers are on the line. They have a vested interest in the status quo, even if that status quo means permanent minority status for the GOP and the continued decline of America. Trump has upset the apple cart and now it’s existential: if Trump wins, that’s it, they’re permanently relegated to the “dustbin of history” so to speak; if Trump loses, they say, “we told you so”, and retake the Party in an anti-Trump purge.

I have been a Republican since 1968 (first election), if Mr. Trump loses this election because of their little temper tantrums I will be re-registering as an Independant for the next election.
