Imagine that happening, then the feds closing all military installations, cancelling all government paychecks and backing out of every welfare program. Just think of it for a few minutes.

If nothing else, it will separate the Texans from the rest. Especially since a lot of people on the military bases will consider themselves Texans.

There comes a time when some people will cut the cord from the feds. The trouble is that the feds have put their tentacles of funding into the lives of many people - it was planned well. We’ll see who can survive without the feds when the time arises.
