The good news: Cruz lost over half of his supporters for his refusal to help defeat hillary.

I know a couple who voted for him, they were also derisive about Trump. They were shocked to learn we voted for Trump and really like him. I think I was able to talk them off the ledge after Trump won.

After the convention debacle, we had a day out on Lake Michigan with them.

They now love Trump and can’t say a kind word about Cruz. I wish I had a recording of the conversations, you’d enjoy them.

Mission accomplished.

Totally amazing story, there. Thanks. Cruz was/is a drama queen, who actually worked to advance everything he was railing against out on the trail. How this genuine creep put together such a dang near cult following I guess I'll never know. When he turned Christians from the bush into a small army of vicious mouthed, vindictive fanatics I had to wonder about Christians. Good to know your friends were able to cut free.✂
