I usually put in the name of a relative. Sometimes it gets printed in the local paper. Other times I write in Del Shannon, just to see if they know who he was.

If I’m going to write in, I write in myself. I usually do that in races where someone is running unopposed. just so he or she doesn’t get all the votes.
