True! What was Ronnie thinking when he dumped Jane for Nancy??? Jane’s kids turned out to be normal Americans and Nancy’s turned out to be leftist whackadoodles. Sometimes you CAN blame “bad parenting”!!!! ;)

Jane filed for divorce. That was in 1948. The divorce was finalized in 1949. Ron didn't meet Nancy until that year. So Ron and Jane were through before that.

Jane’s kids turned out to be normal Americans and Nancy’s turned out to be leftist whackadoodles.

Part of it was the times. If you turned 20 in 1961 or 1965 you came of age in a different world than somebody who turned 20 in 1972.

Maybe part of it was that Ron and Nancy were just too close -- no room for the kids and Patti and Ron Jr. resented it -- or that the younger kids were just too spoiled by material wealth.

Actually, it was Jane that walked away from the marriage.

She never would say a negative thing about Ronnie but said the pressures of their careers kept them apart. Hers was on the ascendancy while his was standing still.
