Julian could be extradited from the embassy at 2am . And the Ecuadorian government given 20 million to give him up. He better have a great backup plan for his info.

Won’t happen. We actually forced down the plane of the Bolivian president looking for Snowden. That’s literally an act of war. Those nations in South America despise us for things like that, and for all the death squad CIA operation Condor crap a few decades ago. 20 million wouldn’t come close.

But for the sake of argument, lets say you are right. The minute he is snatched at 2am, the deadman switch would be activated. He and Snowden both have dumped immense batches of encrypted data.
It has been downloaded all across the planet by different people and journalists. Its something like a terabyte of documents. If anything unpleasant happens to him, like an American kidnapping and rendition to vanish him into our military prison system, or just getting murdered.... then his designated custodian sends out a single tweet with the encryption key.

Instantly everyone on the planet has every document WikiLeaks is still holding. That is the main reason why they won’t make a move.
