A group of students at the Claremont Colleges in search of a roommate insist that the roommate not be white.
Student Karé Ureña (PZ 18) posted on Facebook that non-white students in need of housing arrangements should reach out to either her or two other students with whom she plans to live in an off-campus house. The post states that POC [people of color] only will be considered for this living opportunity. I dont want to live with any white folks, Ureña added.

Everyone would be much better off if that spirit is sent away before it does any more damage.
Personally, I'm color confused. A few days ago I heard a clip on the radio of a black guy saying this.
I had to look for it on the net and I hope the copy I found is accurate.:
Poem by an AfricanExactly right. When I born, I Black,
When I grow up, I Black,
When I go in Sun, I Black,
When I scared, I Black,
When I sick, I Black,
And when I die, I still black...And you White fella,
When you born, you Pink,
When you grow up, you White,
When you go in Sun, you Red,
When you cold, you Blue,
When you scared, you Yellow,
When you sick, you Green,
And when you die, you Gray...And you calling me Colored?
Its at least good she identifies herself, so normal people can avoid her.
Hmmm... segregation making a comeback? I'm for it if you are Karé.
Great projection, folks! You invented fragile feelings!
Fragile WHITE feelings??? Dang, you can't say ANYTHING around some of these kids and you'll get the scowl and be hauled into the office for an endless list of imagined offenses.
Half (white people are more than half the country - offensive word!!) the words (white people invented those words - offensive!!) in the English (white people - offensive word!!) language (white people language - offensive!!) are offensive (aggressive white people word - offensive!!).
No, we call you black. You call yourselves colored! POC?
Its ok, people of color can’t be racists.
No, Dave. White is polychromatic — e.g. a mixture of frequencies in additive or reflected light.
Absolute black is the lack of reflected frequencies. Common black (what you actually see) is actually some frequencies in the darker regions being reflected — not a lack of all frequencies as in absolute black.

Give them Muslims ,Obama has tons of them
Nope. Technically, white is all colors (all frequencies of light -- like sunlight). Black is defined as the absence of color.
You're both correct. Depends on whether you're mixing light or mixing paint.
I’m a person of pallor.
This is great! If we could somehow get them to self segregate and be free of it all-—happy day.
The Article doesn’t say she was Expelled Permanently, WHY???? She Should Be!
This girly might consider the fact that alot of white students don’t want to live with a colored person...especially a racist one but the way the deck is stacked against them they can’t come out and say it!
The article didn't need to print the major of the person this quote was from. The sentence maked clear that the writer is an Africana Studies major and not an English major.
Blacks want what blacks want, and what they want is a constantly moving target. They’re never satisfied and I say that through experience here and abroad. Blacks are the ONLY reason I can’t say I’m not racist.
Right, National Association for the ACCEPTANCE of White people!
You know what. Deep down in side I bet a whole lot of whites are just fine with that.
