Nobody is a bigger Trump fan than I am and every time he opens his mouth now he dribbles a phrase.

Being a 2nd amendment guy I knew roughly what Trump was saying... but if you are not familiar all Trump did was allow the media to finish his sentence.

The one confort I take is that this is August, summer vacation time, the summer olympics distraction, and people right now are not paying any attention to the political. But once Labor Day comes and goes, got to be much more disciplined.

When I heard him say this, I said, “WOW! That should suck up all the oxygen in the room for a couple of days!” Looks as if they have something to talk about.

Wrong. He said nothing wrong. Turn on OAN and hear his entire speeches. The audience loves it.
Don’t you wish he was smart enough not to give them these openings in throwaway lines in a pubic rally. If you are going to say what he said, you can’t leave it there without fully explaiining what you mean.

Trump will have ample opportunity to explain what he said.
He throws stuff out there deliberately, and the press takes the bait.
He is allowing the press to reveal themselves.
