Well, there's an area in northern Colorado and an area northeast of Hotlanta, who go back and forth being the fastest growing areas in the country.

Democrats have demographic advantages on their side. Not only have Republicans stood by and did nothing as Democrats imported new voters for the past 50 years but Democrats also tend to move from places their policies have ruined to places they haven't yet and then turn those states blue, i.e. Colorado.

So, yes, it's possible that in the near future Georgia will be a battleground state, as will Texas. At that point, it's game over for Republicans on the presidential level.

Don’t forget Virginia. Due to the growth of DC suburbs, Virginia is now Maryland South.
