“Right. Well I listen to Rush. Hes smart. Smart enough to not go in full anti Trump”
The undercurrent is there.
I think it was Friday that he let some flaming idiot on the program who was insisting that the Trump candidacy was all some kind of set-up, worked out with Hillary Clinton, to allow her to run.
After a while, the guy’s conspiracy theory nonsense became a little much for Rush, but he just let him go on and on anyway.
Compared to this, how many pro-Trump callers have gotten through and been allowed to talk for that length of time? If they get in at all, Rush usually cuts them off, claims he has “run out of time” and then never returns to whatever point they were trying to make.
The show’s better than it was before the convention. At least he’s no longer having wet dreams of Ted Cruz riding in on a white horse and “the ideal conservative” saving the world from the horrors of making America great again, but it’s obvious (to me, at least) that Rush is FAR more anti-Clinton than he is pro-Trump.
And it’s obvious he’s trying to keep all that hidden, too.
When Hannity comes on, I feel like I’ve been thrown back into the real world, and it’s a breath of fresh air.
“allow her to run” should be “allow her to win”. I really should start reading my own posts sometime, before posting them.
Agree I was trying to get the annoying arguer off my case. I think it worked for now.
Rush was mocking Trump supporters pre Cruz bail. Had a nasty name calling thing going on. It was inexplicable. It was alienating. He is not recovering from it. He had an animosity that others have. It clouds the vision. How could Rush NOT have anticipated a Trump nomination? He counted on a failure
Worse, how could Rush not see Cruz or anyone except Trump being slaughtered by Hillary? Does anyone with sense think the media would not be mauling any nominee now? Do they think any nominee but Trump wouldn’t be grove long in loser apologies right now?
It’s hard to watch Rush losing it. And Levin. But that’s what we’re seeing.
