I don't believe Trump's people tossed Nehlen out; The way it probably went down was as originally told -- Ryan's GOPe thugs tossed him out. But realizing it would look bad, asked Trump's peeps to punctuate it. Nehlen gets it. WIN-WIN for Nehlen IMO.
I have been to a Trump rally. I have to wonder HOW it came that Nehlen was even spotted. Even though it is well ordered chaos - it is still chaotic. Multiple security lines - there were ten or so in Syracuse. Was some eagle eyed dude assigned to be on the look-out?
And Nehlan apparently quickly contacted the Daily Caller (not too in love with Trump at the DC) to give them his story about being turned away.
