Mezvinsky's parents were both congressional representatives. First his father, Edward Mezvinsky, represented Iowa's First Congressional District in the 1970s. Then his mother, Marjorie Margolies, represented Pennsylvania's 13th District from 1993 to 1995, losing her reelection bid after one term, ironically for supporting President Clinton's budget plan.
Their family is also no stranger to scandal. His father pleaded guilty to fraud in 2001 and spent five years in prison for scamming $10 million out of family and friends in a Ponzi scheme.
Lol. It all fits together, doesn't it? Chelsea's father-in-law scammed his very own FAMILY and FRIENDS out of $10,000,000.00. Whoa.
